Welcome to the Department of Geography at Youngstown State University. We offer a major (Bachelor of Arts) and four minors in Geography. We now offer the new Spatial Information Systems major (Bachelor of Applied Science). We also have a Certificate Program in Geographic Information Science (GISci).  Our Full-time Faculty We are located on the first floor of the Phelps Building at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Phelps Street (aerial view ). All of our on-campus classrooms are located in the Phelps Building including our map library and computer lab.

As mentioned above, Dr. Stephens will also be providing a geographic van/bus tour of the West Side of Youngstown on October 17th, which gives members of the YSU community the opportunity to learn about the historic geography of Youngstown out in the field instead of in the classroom. |
