Introduction:
The membership of the AERA Special Interest Group on Survey Research in Education (SIG-SRE) is available for researchers and educators who are interested in survey research in education. SIG-SRE provides a forum for educational researchers seeking to improve survey research methodology.
If you are an AERA member and would like to become a member of SIG-SRE, please visit the AERA Website at http://www.aera.net/. Please note that according to the current practice the membership in any SIG has to run
concomitantly
with the membership in AERA.
If you are not a member of AERA and would like to become a member of SIG-SRE, the best option is to become a member of both AERA and SIG-SRE at the same time because of the current practice that the membership in both AERA and a SIG has to run concomitantly. Please visit the AERA Website at http://www.aera.net/.
If you are not a member of AERA, have no intention of becoming a member of AERA and would like to become a member of SIG-SRE, you may use the following option. Please retrieve and complete the application form shown at the end of this page and mail it along with your check for dues to:
AERA, Attn: Bidyut Acharya
1230 17th Street
NW, Washington, DC 20036.
The membership fee is seven dollars ($7.00) for one year and twelve dollars ($12.00) for two years. SIG-SRE membership fee for AERA student members is three dollars ($3.00) for one year (multiple-year membership option is not availbele for AERA student members).
PLEASE note that the SIG membership has to be concomitant with the AERA membership, i.e., membership renewal time period should be the same for the SIG and the AERA.
